The Transformation of ConceptsInto a Third Dimension

Thanks for the 'heads-up' on your organization and artists. It never ceases to amaze me how many different skill are part of the stable of 'sculpture'.

Your mission to "foster the art of sculpture by increasing public awareness of the issues and techniques that surround sculpture [and]..... facilitate communication between member sculptors" is truly admirable.

I am classed as a sculptor also, yet our art and skills barely cross over as I work in clay and china manufacturing. We are all, however, dealing in the transformation of concepts into a third dimension. Why is that important? Not sure, but I know it is.

Peter
