To further both transparency and the public perception of transparency in our decision-making, I proposed an ordinance which would have required persons who are paid to lobby the city to register with the City Auditor. Many of you probably received my initial draft. After a lot of feedback, we proposed this revised ordiance and published this FAQ (PDFs).
