[0]Oregon Bicycle Constructors AssociationThe Portland Development Commission identifies the bicycle industries as one of the nascent cottage industries that it would like to see grow and flourish. Oregon, and Portland in particular, have unique advantages over other regions in terms of making bikes, and this Bike Show allowed craftsman to show them off.
To help promote this trade show of custom bicycle makers from across the state, Sam worked with PDC to make sure that as a seed industry that the Oregon Handmade Bicycle trade show got support from the local government.
The event was successfully held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at the World Forestry Center in Washington Park.
