When does a Party = Crime Prevention? - See the video!

Each year a van load of staff join Sam in attending several of the neighborhood parties throughout one quadrant of Portland. This year we visited parties in SouthEast Portland.Mt. Our intention is to honor all those people gathering together as neighbors to get to know each other, share a meal or music, and to reinforce the importance neighborliness plays in crime prevention.

Recognize and watch out for each other; learn who may need assistance in an emergency; remember to be considerate to your neighbors are as you hold parties or events. National Night Out is also fun for our team, and it is obvious as we visit parties and picnics that the neighborhoods enjoy the event as well. People talk to Sam about their concerns, and about their corner of Portland.
