Portland City Hall and the folks from PDX Pop Now! recently came together to put on a concert promoting youth involvement in music. Bands playiPDX Pop Now! Show at City Hallng at the July 25th show included Old Time Relijun, The Watery Graves and Little Sue. The event came as Oregon is listed as the 48th state in the nation for per capita spending on the arts. Sam spoke at the event outlining his creative capacity strategy to increase funding for the arts in the state of Oregon. city hall show
That was great! I love these shows, because it gets some great music out to people who normally wouldn't pay any attention to it. Plus, it's just fun to watch bands play in front of City Hall. I took a few photos:
