Jacob, maybe you are not aware of the mass transit tax abatement programs that are provided for mass transit development that occurs along and even several blocks away from mass transit.

This doesn't include all the other tax abatements, tax subsidies, loan programs through PDC or Trimet that "induces" these projects along mass transit. Even with these inducements, there are several URDs and whole segments along mass transit that seem to ignore the incentives-like Cascade, Beaverton Round, Martin Luther King, N. Portland, etc.
