I find that even expert

I find that even expert translators make mistakes when translating creative works for new markets. They seem to forget that the “trick” to it is to capture the spirit of the message, rather than aim for a literal or word-for-word translation. It’s interesting seeing how different Spanish-speaking cultures have their own unique sayings. Ultimately, just about every culture around the world has the same sort of nuggets, as I like to call them, just worded differently.
I’m a big fan of Japanese Animation (Anime) and, with my basic knowledge of the language, I often find discrepencies between the translation and what is actually being said. It is quite entertaining! I find that, as cultures become more intertwined, more commonground is drawn in their respective language and expressions.
