i'm not keen on that particular design, but i do agree that if we're going to build a bridge, we should make it an artistic one!
what i don't agree with is a toll: roads that are major connections to another place should NOT be tolled. crossing a state line is a major connection and we only have one other place to do that. I-5 is a major arterial route -- not just for portland/vancouver, but all up and down the west coast. tolls work best for roads that are alternative routes. keep I-5 toll free!
