This so-called celebration looks just like yet another in-kind contribution for the Sam Adams for Mayor campaign to get media attention that will be paid for by City taxpayers whether they like it or not. That is no different than poaching motorist paid taxes that should be used to pay for street maintenance, but instead are siphoned away for the costs of bicycle infrastructure. Bike boxes are just another taxpayer funded excuse so Adams can continue to turn a blind eye and avoid the rigorous enforcement of requiring his bicyclist buddies to comply with all traffic laws - including actually coming to a complete stop at STOP signs and waiting for traffic signals to turn green before riding through intersections.

Once again Adams is showing his preferential treatment to the freeloading pedal pushers while demonstrating his personal bias and prejudices that continually are directed toward the people drive, pay the transportation taxes and to the families that choose to use their cars. All bike boxes will do is create more friction, conflict and hostility between motorists and bicyclists. Bike boxes are a congestion creating waste of taxpayer dollars!!!
