Then there is the plug in hybrid. Charge it overnight, run the first 10 miles pure electric. If you can charge at work, you can be gas free if you live in inner NE/SE and work in Beaverton.

The great part is that as technology improves the range, even fewer trips will need gas. Pretty soon the only time you fill up will be to take a trip to the beach.
