Ranting..I could rant about cylcists myself and I even own a bike that I enjoy riding on city streets too. I completely understand the pleasure of riding, and desire to make a contribution to lessening the effect of exhaust emmisons...BUT....
>>>The point here, since you asked is that bike riders need to obey the laws of the traffic the same as automobile drivers, and think more about their own safety and not about how quickly they can dart in and out of traffic and slip in between cars when they are stopped for a light. Also, riding at night is very dangerous and you CANNOT assume just because you have one little head light and your arm out that a motorist can actually SEE you. I think it's the responsibility of the bike rider to watch out for their own safety, and that includes following the laws. Enough said.
