Southwest Traffic - cars win

In my neighborhood we have quietly endured the closure of SW 30th Avenue intermittently during installation of new sewer pipes, which requires the destruction of that street and the arterial, SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy.-also known as Highway #10. We are now into week two past the projected completion date. During this time, some effort could have been made to install a sidewalk on that very dangerous street. At the very least, upon completion, they should paint a bright cross-walk on SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway at that light on SW 30th, as the drivers even honk their horns at pedestrians who have the right-of-way, but apparently are not fast enough for these SUV-driving suburbanites. Some of us who live there live on the highway and need more protection!!! See you at the Transpo. Open House definitely.
