Left out of the funding mechanisms and proposals is that bicyclists should be self-taxed and pay their own way to provide bicycle infrastructure rather than freeloading and poaching funds off the rest of society. Apparently the NYMBY syndrome that bicyclists themselves should not be required accept financial responsibility for their demands is perverted beyond Oregon’s borders.
